Ride ‘Em Jewboy: Kinky Friedman for governor of Texas!
During the 1970s, Kinky Friedman and the Texas Jewboys sang country-and-western songs like “They Ain’t Makin’ Jews Like Jesus Anymore,” “Asshole from El Paso” and “Get Your Biscuits in the Oven and Your Buns in the Bed.” After a second career as a mystery novelist, Kinky is now running for governor of Texas. And some political prognosticators think he might just have a chance.
