Introduction from my book Happiness Now
You can be happy if you want to be. While you may have little control over the events around you, you have total control of the happiness in your own life.
Each of us has a level of happiness (or unhappiness) to which we’ve become accustomed. Yet you can move to a higher level: You simply resolve to make conscious choices for yourself that will increase your happiness level, and you take action on a regular basis until you create and adapt to a more joyful way of life.
In my book Happiness Now! I have made a number of suggestions for raising one’s level of happiness. I created these suggestions for you . . . and for me, since many of them are lessons I want in my consciousness, or in some cases to relearn after having forgotten them . . . again.
